Any experience with 2020-older Grand Cherokees is not relevant to the conversation. As stated earlier the 2021 is on a complete new platform.
To that end, probably nobody here has ever towed with one.
My advice is, look for the smallest lightest trailer that meets your camping needs. You may need to COMPROMISE on amenities and space if you want to keep your 2021 Grand Cherokee. Yes, the mean old c-word.
The platform of the Grand Cherokee doesn't change until the 2022 model year. The 2021 is still considered 4th generation. 2022 is the 5th gen. Unless he is talking 2021 Grand Cherokee L, which isn't what the OP posted.
This is correct. The 2021 Grand Cherokee is the WK2 platform.
I tow 6000 with my 2014 regularly. It’s a diesel with quadralift and Quadra drive II. it’s a very stable, capable SUV. The HD brakes, tow package, etc are a must and I wouldn’t dare use a pentastar. - Grit_dogTrailblazer

Do you generally eat your spam cold or fried?
Or do you only dish it out! Hahahahaha - CatherineFerrisExplorerHello, I am sorry I don't have enough information regarding this. But I will try my best to find the best solution for you. Or I will ask my friend who can surely help you with your problem. He is really good at searching for any problem solution online. Last time he shared the https://www.grabmyessay.com/write-my-research-paper website with me because I asked him to help me in searching for a site online that has good reviews and I can hire an essay writer. That is why I trust him in searching for any problem solution online.

As you should know the really big issue with towing is the squishy "P" rated tires on these rigs. - Grit_dogTrailblazer

And the new ones are pretty b!tch!n looking!
And it's quit relevant. The new ones certainly aren't less capable, by the numbers.
Its still about a mid size suv and what it can tow. - mkirschNomad IIAny experience with 2020-older Grand Cherokees is not relevant to the conversation. As stated earlier the 2021 is on a complete new platform.

Yes, the mean old c-word. - mm047ExplorerI've towed my 21 1/2 ft (total length) Flagstaff 21FBRS with my '16 JGC for about 25,000 miles over the last 5 years. It has the V6, so is rated to tow 6200#. My trailer is just over 5,000# loaded, and it is only me and the DW in the Jeep, and very little more cargo inside. So we hit the scales at 10,200#
I live in AZ, and tow all over the west. Mountains and canyons are not a problem. and wind is very little problem. My Equal-I-Zer is set up very well, so when the wind is bad, like always in New Mexico, I just slow down.
I've had no reliability issues with the Jeep. Also, I think the another poster is mistaken is saying the 2021 JGC is on the Alfa base. That is the 3 row that they call the WL and is a 2022. It is starting to be shipped. But the 2021 is a 2 row, known as the WK2, and is still on the Mercedes platform as it has been since 2013. - Cummins12V98Explorer IIII have a 7,000# plus tandem axle boat n trailer that tows like a dream with 700# plus tongue weight I would never consider towing with my GC.
