My wife was diagnosed with ALS in December 2020 and I could not transfer her from a wheel chair into the RAM. So in the spring we sold the Laredo TT and RAM, and her son and his FIL brought the EDGE ST down to AZ for us. She passed away on July 5th!
So the dealer that sold us the ST 15 months ago gave me more than we paid for it and 2K off the F150, so I am back into a pickup truck.
The Edge towed the trailer with the Can Am Spyder just fine, however before I headed North for the rest of the summer I bought a Kawasaki KRX1000 side by side that is in the carport in AZ waiting for my return. With the box off the Primo 6x12 trailer the KRX should fit. It was going to push the Edge ST close to it's limits. The KRX is twice the weight of the Spyder.
So I looked at RAM 1500s (concerned about cam/lifter issues) , Chevy 1500s (concerned about lifter/push rod issues) and settled on the F150 with the 2.7L ecoboost.
Under different circumstances I would still have and be driving the RAM, which was a really great vehicle.
