He is actually the one that said the 6 x 6 is just fine and would not make much difference with more gears.

As mentioned WHY in the HE!! change when you have combo's that do the job reliably.

I will repeat, I tow way more weight than most anyone here at 35k combined West Coast and have ZERO reason to want more gears or power. I have owned both trans and I love them both.

The one you felt inclined to install a after market oil pan or the one on the shop floor? I'm confused... :B

Both were great as I have mentioned many times. Not sure what the big deal is about adding a deeper pan???? The point of the pic was at 65k with way over 50k on the AMZ/OIL ATF the pan was near spotless towing 30k combined most of the miles. ONLY reason I removed the pan was I traded the 11 on the 15 and sold the pan.

You also know the reason the AISIN was replaced it had NOTHING to do with the trans at all. It had minor weeping where the case meets so I had it repaired under warranty. The Tech is the GOD in the Valley when it comes to transmissions. He had only replaced two AISIN's under warranty up to then because of casting issues. He did the separation with the trans in place and the proper way was to remove and stand on TQ converter end. Obscure Technical Bulletin later showed this. NOT the fault of the transmission!!!

So I have to ask what was the point of you posting the pics?????????
