Check your vehicle owners manual. It probably states maximum extension off stock hitch at 18". At 18" extension from stock hitch weight distributing not authorized. Figure your stock hitch has a 5k dead tow rating. Now minus by 1/3 for 18" extension. Your max tow with 18" extension is about 3500lbs. 24" extension off factory hitch not recommended.
