If your going to tow something less than 3500 lbs you might get a 18" extention and then look at the different ball drops that are available , they come in different lengths also up to about 13" from hitch pin hole to ball hole, if you get the longer one you might be where you need to be on the cheap , like $80-$100 for the 18" ext , and $60 for the ball drop
