I just got off the phone with an RV / Welding shop right up the street, for $300-$600, he can beef up my hitch to handle 1400 lbs. I will be taking it to him tomorrow to have a look, and narrow the price down. I big sigh of relief for relatively cheap. Probably overkill, but I'll sleep better.
I talked with the folks at Equal-i-zer, and told them everything I've told y'all, they recommended the 90-00-1400.
