2500 vs 2500 HD
I'm trying to find out what the differences are between a std. 2006 Ram 2500 diesel and in Heavy Duty. I'm particularly interested in the payload/towing capacity differences. Anybody know off the top ...

I'm not sure what exactly a Mega Cab is, but mine's a four door cab and it's a HD. My understanding was the leaf springs were the same or close to a 3500, but I could be wrong about that.
The Mega Cab is a four door with an extension behind that. The difference between the 2500 and the 3500 was a set of overload springs. As far as I know all 2500's had the same springs in 2006.
