Know you have all kinds of suggestions here but I have been heavy mechanical equipment for many years. The life of of depends on the torque of each bolt if it has a certain torque for each bolt it should be torqued to that. If you have ever witnessed a bolt failure due to torque it is not a purty site people have been killed not torquing to proper torque I have witnessed it. Don't care to see that again. Be safe torque properlly your life or worse some innocent person could pay the price.
Sounds like solid advice Paul. Thx
Amen! Strange how folks will spend thousands upon thousands of dollars for trailers, tow vehicles, accessories, etc but won't spring for a $100 torque wrench that can prevent a catastrophic event.
Now you're making me feel foolish :B
I'm 67 years old and been tinkering with my own cars and motorcycles for 50 years, but up to this point I've never needed a torque wrench that'll do more than 160 pounds or so, and I expect I never will again. So, I'm not going to buy one for one use, but I am going to accept the kind advice offered here and get them torqued.
