Day 2: Whitehorse to Tok.
Wanted to get to Fairbanks this day, but slow roads, construction, and all that allowed us to get to Tok before we threw in the towel.
Lots of fireweed

Typical scene north of Haines Junction area.

Backside of St. Elias range.

A break at yet another huge glacial river.

Bunch of guys driving and towing Jeeps from the lower 48.

Reality of the Alcan.

Lunch break.

How to keep a kid happy driving all day.

The roads in Yukon, north of Haines Junction are absolute ****, especially just before the border. Travel in a truck camper is 30-40mph at best, unless you want to break your truck in half. After the border, the roads were great to Fairbanks.

Day 3-18 later.
