Have a 2016 Chevy Duramax. The tire that came on it are 265/70/18 . Think when I need new tires going to 275/70/18 . I know that it will change the rear gearing . Has anyone went with the larger tire ...

Don't have a Dmax. Got a CTD. Went from pizza cutter 245/70/17 to 275/65/18. My speedo is off by about 2-2.5 mph. Other than that I noticed no drop off in pulling power when towing. What I did get was a better mph vs rpm range. Before I would be in 5th and and taching a little high for cruising in the mtns. 6th dropped the rpms to low. Now 5th is perfect when running in the mtns. MPG dropped about 1-1.5 partly because I went from Michelin AT's to BFG KO2. My jump in size is a bit more than yours so guessing you won't notice much difference at all.
