2WD or 4WD

When we bought our GMC I was surprised to find ZERO 2wd trucks in towing trim. They had 2wd all day long for plain reg cab work trucks.
Personally, I was dissapointed. Don't see the need to have every truck 4wd. However, I did buy one as towing capacity seemed similar. And, in all honesty, have used it a few times this winter (snow!) Have nothing against it, but at the time i saw it as an added expense and option I didnt' need. Could have lived without it, but it is nice to have.
As said here before, its your choice.
