Hi all...time to open another can of worms...we r going to purchase a 2015 2500 denali duramax crew...just don't see the need for 4wd...how abt some non male ego driven opinions on the subject. ..thx....
Most of the time 4wd will take me where I may have also made it with 2wd, but with more effort. I may have to lock the hubs and shift into 4wd instead of having to lay traction material down, shovel out a path and install chains on a 2wd. The outcome is same but the time and energy is not.
Then there are other times when conditions worsen and I need to put more effort forth while using 4wd. This is a reserve capacity I would not have with 2wd.
