My driveway is uphill. I put my truck in 4 wheel low to back my 6,000lb trailer into place. 4 wheel low locks out the torque converter and prevents my transmission from overheating. If I use 4 wheel high or leave it in 2wd the transmission temperatures will reach 250 degrees and I do not like that. I also added an aftermarket transmission cooler with fan in line with my factory cooler and the transmission temps stay in the 190's using 4wd low.
