This topic has been spoken about so many times but it's all good! I have had both 2 and 4 wheel drive trucks. My current is a 4x4 GMC. Love it, I won't ever go back to a 2 wheel drive but others are fine with their 2 wheel drive. Kinda reminds me of the diesel verse gas debate that never ends! Lol! I guess you need to ask yourself what your truck will be used for. I can attest to several times I needed it and was glad to have it. Yes Florida u will need it for any sandy conditions.... If not u will be stuck.....some campgrounds down here are in areas that have some sand and yes I have got stuck on wet grass as well.... In my opinion only I will always have it, and it pays for itself when u need it. A 2 wheel drive truck with a locker can get u out of situations as well. So if you go that route then get the rear locker not limited slip but a locker. I like the GM G80 eaton locker on my truck. It has worked well for me and is worth the extra money as an option.
