twodown-Check the graphs for torque and horsepower on the ecoboost. I have heard this complaint over and over about how the turbo has to run high rpm's to make power. BULL. My Eco pulls great off the line and continues doing so as it goes through the gears. I have never had to rev my engine to get up steep/long hills.
I do not claim that my eco can pull heavy loads like a turbo diesel, there is no way that it can. I pull 5000 pounds frequently and the truck does the job without problems. I also put miles on with 4 adults in the truck and it does this wll. The truck is comfortable, gets 22 to the gallon on regular gas on the highway.
