I own a 2017 f350 with 6.7. Love the beast.
Just noticed last weekend on a family trip that I drove about 300- 350 kilometers and had 3 regens. I know that shutting off or putting in park stops this cycle as I owned a 2012 for 5 years and intentionally tried to complete the regen.
Anyone encounter this? The first was at highway speeds and it completed for sure. A bit miffed?
Do you ever have issues with the DEF freezing? I'm a ways north of you, and I've had mine freeze before, and send up warning signals. I just had mine in the dealer last weekend, to thaw out the DEF and replace a pump. I'm under warranty as well, but a delete may be in my future, especially since the dealer does it.
DEF freezes but the system is designed with heated sumps and lines to thaw it out. Until a heater fails the system work fine in very cold climates. I had a heater go out on my 2011 Ford which triggered the check engine light at 140,000 km. I ran it that way for about a year before changing the heater.
