Tundra owner here, and I would lean towards the Flex. If the Tundra had the 4.7 V8, I would say go with the Tundra hands down. It is a very stout little truck but the V6 would feel underpowered. I towed 5500 lbs with my old 2000 Tundra 4.7 V8 and it did "OK" but felt like it was at its limit. Wouldn't want to try towing with the V6.
