Length is length , depends where you camp. As said some state sites will be tight, not so much the site but the tree lined roadway limits pivot room. A shorter trailer certainly helps in those situations.
If the majority of your stays will be at rv parks with hookups, pull thru sites and large back in sites are common, the longer length will not matter much. It depends on the park as well. Ive been to private CG's where i'd be lucky to fit a backpack tent and smart car. I've learned to always call ahead to ask if they can fit a 58 ft combo (that's what i had, i now tow a 27' and its pretty easy to fit in most places).
If i can't fit, i simply unhitch it and my DW pushes it into the site.

RE: you mentioned acrtic and elite packages. Jayco Elite package and Arctic Packages offers a lot of nice add- ons like the Mor-ryde 3000 equilizer, porcelain toilet, 90 gals of water, black tank sprayer, added insulation,heated/enclosed underbelly , raised oak wood panels on fridge and cabinets , skylight, sink sprayer faucet, etc . Most of them also have alum wheels and 15k A/C as options.
