The actual electrical connector part is an industry standard 30 amp 120 VAC connector. That connection is actually made before the outer screw on part is tightened down.
My new AF 990 has that and I like it better than the hardwired cords. Its easier to deal with in cold weather than trying to stuff a really stiff cable back into that hole on the side of the camper. Try doing that when the temperature is 4 degrees.:(
