26,000-combined is where one starts to get in trouble. "RV" definitions are tightening. And for hobbyists, it's no free ride any more (IRS rules). The states are all over the place. Be sure to meet the requirements of yours.
As to medical it isn't difficult to pass (prescriptions or disabllity not considered), and some states have non commercial CDL (so to speak) to cover these grey areas.
