32 ft'er with a suburban?
2004 suburban 2500 6.0 4.10 gears 4x4. Am I insane to want a 32ft trailer?

The 2500 Suburban is a pretty good towing platform. The only thing a 1 ton diesel will get you is more power and more payload. If the trailer you have in mind is within what the 6.0 can tow, then go for it.
X2 on not using the stock receiver. The stock receivers of that era were total trash. When used with weight distribution systems they are prone to flexing and breaking.
