I can speak from experience regarding the 3/4. I had a 04 ram and loved that cummins. It pulled like a beast. However I came across an opportunity to trade in foe a 14 1 ton and all I can say it is awesome. I have a 10k tt with a tw around 980+ and with that airbags and a wdh I can't even tell the tt is there. Like someone else said "is it overkill? " ahhhhh I guess but I would be on this end of my options than the guy that is constantly running the number trying to convince myself that myself and family "should be fine" . No thanks.
