Curious... Is insurance on a 3500 truck much more than a 2500? Not discussing brands or year models, just average insurance rates.

Actually , only a small % of ins premium is related to vehicle value or type, trim level, gvw, etc.
Most of the premium is due to geographical location, age, status, driving record, credit score, policy inclusions and limits.
