35,500 for 2020 GM's
Just saw an another site where GM has released their tow ratings for their 2020 HD trucks. They are claiming 35,500 trailer (increase of 52% over current trucks), 11.5" rear gear on 2500's 12" on 3500...

Again, mind blown.....
We now have 7-800hp cars, 500hp trucks and 900-1000 ft lb diesel pickups that are rated to tow only a couple tons shy of a typical Class8 legal load!
This is absolutely nuts in the eyes of every gearhead alive ( and a few dead ones may be rolling over as well).
And at the same time you can get a legit electric econo car that gets infinite miles to the gallon and will haul people reliably and comfortably and never see a gas pump.
As automobile consumers we are truly blessed and, man, I really need a Hellcat to park next to a new Dmax or Ram!
