This is absolutely nuts in the eyes of every gearhead alive ( and a few dead ones may be rolling over as well).
And at the same time you can get a legit electric econo car that gets infinite miles to the gallon and will haul people reliably and comfortably and never see a gas pump.
As automobile consumers we are truly blessed and, man, I really need a Hellcat to park next to a new Dmax or Ram!
All that, and it seems like we get desensitized or lose perspective of how advanced our modern vehicles are. Can you imagine the racers of the 60's reaction if someone told them you could pick up regular sports car, not some limited edition car, and with a little work run in the 11's.
And these are more streetable and easy to drive than the 13 second cars of years past.
