3rd row seat...payload capacity question
Just wondering if anyone knows this, does a 3rd row seat in a 2007 tahoe count against payload capacity? Lets say payload is 1800 lbs (I am just making up a number here) and the seats weigh in at 100...

Maybe Proverbs might understand a flesh and blood example...
A guy is rated for 150 lbs cargo..asks if removing his fanny pack will allow him
to carry more...
Most Proverbs folks will say yes, it will...
But, they don't understand what 'curb' is...
Curb is a 150 lb base person...'stripped' of all his clothing (options)...or
AKA butt naked...
But...this person weighs in at 225 lbs, not the 150 lb person the
rating is derived from
Plus this guy has a tool belt that has: 2 crescent wrenches; a channel lock plier;
2 pliers; 1 32 foot tape measure; 1 utility knife; 6 screw drivers; flash light;
small bubble level; wire insulation stripper; plumb-bob with 100 ft chaulked line;
1 roll of electrical tape; 1 small roll of duct tape: center punch; 2 cold
chisels; 12" T-sq: 16 oz hammer and the tool pouch might weigh 1.5 lbs
That this guy is wearing 9" steel toed boots with Vibram Yellow label treads
Construction jeans with 7 pockets filled with stuff...construction
shirt with four pockets; a hard hat and a big ETC
Taking off that fanny pack might now get that guy down to the 300 lb GVWR...
