FWIW
We were boondocking this past weekend in South Georgia. It was raining when we left and had been doing so for the last 24 hours. The road we had to leave on until we hit pavement is clayish-dirt-mixed limerock, and it was a disaster. It took 4WD to get through that road. For the record, this is the only time I've ever needed 4WD for anything during the course of normal driving/towing. Of course, the previous statement doesn't account for all the foolish things I've done over the years whereby 4WD became a necessity of the circumstance LOL.
