Was just on the rim over Memorial Day.
Remember at 7000 ft your 305/385 is down 25% power so more like 225/290 and less dense air going through the radiator for cooling.
Only turbo or supercharged vehicles will not feel the pain.
I’m roughly 350/700 with my 7.3 SD towing a big 7300 lb trailer and I can hold 65-70 but am limited not by power but EGT’s going up the “hills”. They are really mountains.
