Funny in how the comments I get from my Coach meetings and they broach the subject of the value of their RVs, compared to the lower cost RVs, such as my Truck Camper. Dollar for Dollar parity just makes me smile as they go on about their multiple slides and the fantastic RV parks they stay at.
Its all relative to what one wants to do with their time, money and dreams. For me, I would rather have the dreams and adventures than sitting at the kitchen table, looking over my bank statement, each month. If the cost is the issue, get a nice truck with a topper on the back and foam pad to sleep on in the back. I did just this, for 30+ years. I like the change up I have now.
