hmmmm I'm picking up my 2015 EC 1160 tomorrow......It offers everything I wanted.

I dont see a problem paying to get what you want. Sure I'd love to pay $15k for the same thing but that is not the world we live in. We live in a world of $50-75K PICK-UP trucks, $20-25k 'economy' cars and so on and so on. The world is an expensive place today!

Explorer...I think they forgot about the engineering on mine in many places, like under the slide and the water trap along the top of the bumper!

When we were shopping for a new TC in 2013 it was our experience that Lance were 15% (min) more expensive than EC and AF.

The Lance dealer in our area would not negotiate. Not even $1.

After a lot of research between these 3 brands, we could not justify the cost of a Lance.

We took our business else where, and are very pleased we did.

That's our story...

Almost 30 years ago. Inflation puts that at $25,000 to $30,000 today even without new features like slides.

or generators or power awnings or remote control power jacks or dual pane windows or transfer switches or slide out cargo trays or televisions or DVD players with bluetooth and charging setups for iphones or....all of which this camper probably has. And its probably lighter as the framing is aluminum. They still make wood framed basic bare bones campers right around that 20,000 dollar point retail.
