Never had 4 WD, never was particularly cautious, never got stuck, and was never really careful about whether I'd get stuck. It just has never happened in all the years of RVing. Have never been in a situation where I wanted, or needed, 4 WD. Just my experiences.
But the truck is never driven in snowy weather, and it's basically just to pull the 5th wheel.
