Perhaps on medium and heavy duty trucks but that is not the discussion here. This is about PICKUP trucks. No self-respecting contractor, mobile mechanic, large animal veterinarian, among countless other professions, would own a 2WD pickup as 4WD is often required to get to where the work is.
Check the new pickup truck inventories online. 4x4 outnumbers 2WD by 50:1.
