Just my .02 like everyone else. I had some 2x trucks in the past and they were ok. Personally I'll never own another 2x truck again if i can afford it. Multiple times I've needed 4x and used it with the tt and without and would have been screwed without it.
4x vs 2x I'm in the better to have and not need, than need and not have camp. Plus resale is typically much better on 4x trucks.
But hey, they build 2x for a reason so buy what you like and what makes you happy and don't worry about what others think. Good luck
