4X2 or 4X4 for towing and general use...what say you?

And it's not buying it for the next owner, it's buying it and balancing wants/needs/and return on investment.
If I had to have a lime green and pink 2wd gasser with a regular cab and differnet size tires, that would be a want that I would get virtually nothing for on resale because no one would want that ugly, limited capability vehicle. Even though KBB said it's worth xxxxx, you can fix ugly or lame so it wouldnt be worth squat.
