4X2 or 4X4 for towing and general use...what say you?

Yep between getting in and out of hunting spot, certain RV mistakes at unknown parks over the years, once in Canada it was either hit a tree while sliding in the sand or have 4WD. I always buy most options for any given model year. Improvement have been many. That's me I want the best as my butt is in it for several thousand miles of towing each year. I deserve the best and I get it when I can.
