4X4X4 4 pole wiring plug

On a seven 7 pin factory connector where a travel trailer plugs into behind that connection is the 4 pole flat connector from the rest of the vehicles wiring.

What I am looking for is that male & female 4 way connection in-between the original setup and 1 one more female 4 pole connector in that line up so a male tailgate light bar makes a connection so I don’t have to splice and get away from hard wiring.

They say in the instructions you can plug the light bar directly into the 4 pin connector ledunderbody .

The problem is I don’t want to disconnect anything after the light bar is installed and have the ability to plug in my TT connection at any time and don't want to splice the original wiring.

This would give me the extra 4 way plug for the light bar.
Male - female – female 4 poles.

Is there a connector like this out there or do I have to modify?

  • I became a fan of plug and play after seeing some of the hack jobs of installing a light bar, Sorry if I was not clear on what I was looking to do.

After calling all the leaders in wiring like Hopkins and curt and draw tight they told me that there is no 7-Way & 4-Way Replacement Connector that has two 4-way ends coming out of a Trailer Connector.

I didn’t want to splice into more wires than I had to (original wiring) just for a light bar.

Since I could not get the 7-Way & 4-Way Replacement Connector that has two 4-way ends coming out of a Trailer Connector I had to make a T connector and only splice into the reverse light.

Granted that I used a Reese Professional Series 4-Wire Insta-Plug Kit from advance auto parts and Sierra Trailer marine 4 Pole Flat Connector Set 5ft WH10350 and Marine Heat Shrink Tubing splicing that T connector together, the original wiring harness is still in tack.

But opnsppaces gave me and idea and now waiting for a Tow Ready Replacement 7-Way Flat Pin and 4-flat Combo Adapter Harness for Vehicles with a Factory Socket.

Make and model do make a difference and it should have been added.

    Thanks to everyone.
  • It would be a lot clearer if the OP would list his vehicle or a picture of the vehicle's trailer wiring junction and a link to the actual product he wants to power.
  • If I understand correctly, the OP wants two 4pin and one 7pin on the TV. Sounds like a custom splicing job to me.
  • If your vehicle has "T" connector included in the rear light wiring, you can buy an adaptor that will allow another 4 wire connection.
  • Sounds like you need something like this. or this.

What is the make/model of the vehicle? I'll bet Hopkins or Curt make a direct plugin version of the ones I linked above.
  • Been there close as they come is Hopkins Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring - 42145. That's a 10 hole plug.
