5.9 Cummins Diesel Towing capacity
I see by the owner's manual that the total towing capacity for my 5.9 24 valve Dodge 3500 4x2 is about 13000 and the rig I am looking at is 14000

- Go for it.
However we need more in put on what year model and is it a DRW or SRW. Older SRW with 17" tires and wheels (6200 RAWR spring pack) may need some rear suspension/tires and wheels help.
If its the older 47RE it probably needs some good uprated innards made for towing heavy. - Either a different trailer of a different truck.
Or ignore the numbers as so many do.
What year of truck? - Yeah, get a newer truck with a higher towing capacity.
