Is anyone towing heavy 11'000 lbs with a 3500 Chevy . Thinging about new truck don't want a another diesel.

I have one in a 3500 Savanna ext, Its a good engine but 11,000 lbs is pushing its limits. The ford 6.2 is stronger and a better trans, at least on my 2010 anyway. The 6.0 has better bottom end tq but runs out of steam too quickly and starts thrashing a bit. I believe Gm has a new 6.2 gas out now also thats supposed to make good power.
