2011 2500HD 6.0, 3.73
I tow 9000-9500 with this truck. Only been in Michigan, so no steep terrain. Fuel mileage towing is 8-9, depending on speed, wind, etc. Non-towing, is 13-18 mpg depending on usage. The truck has plenty of power for Michigan. (Then again, I thought that the 2014 1500 Sierra with 4.3 V6 had plenty of power towing 7000 lbs also.)
