The gas mileage of the 6.0 doesn't hurt so much if you aren't driving it stoplight to stoplight for work everyday, or it's for pulling equipment or weekending. Seems like the diesel option by itself is about $7500 or so. The mpg improvement with a 6.6 vs the 6.0 is offset by the higher cost of the fuel, and the cost of repairs for diesel vs gas are also quite a bit higher.
