Because he already has it and is happy with it. If I was in his shoes and wanted another 200K out of it, then I would have it bullet proofed while there still is something to bullet proof!

That's great. But his experience has no effect on me. The 6.0 is one of the worst diesels ever made. Just the fact that the engine popularized the phrase "bullet proof" speaks fr itself. The other diesels of that era do not require bullet proofing
