My 6.0 Excursion Limited only has about 100k on it, but what other vehicle could I seat 8 people, with room behind the third row seat for stuff and still pull my 3 fold out bed hybrid camper easily?
I have spent a few thousand on it, needed the EGR cooler and while in there did head work and studs, but the truck is over 11 years old and still looks good, runs great.
Nothing on the market these days like it and I plan on keeping it for a good while.
Between towing, highway and city driving, MPG somewhere around 15.
Probably a high maintenance vehicle, but if you stay on top of it, the 6.0 is a good engine. I also run a Scangauge2 to keep track of the vitals.
Biggest problem with mine is it goes through alternators. I am on my third one.
