My 6.0 had to have a new EGR system put in, while it was apart I had it bulletproofed. It ran fine until the day it died, when a car coming down a mountain road drifted into my lane, ran under the truck, ripped off the rear axle and spun the truck 270 degrees, tweaking the frame in the process. I now have a 2008 Ford F-250 with a 6.4. Great truck, but it came with its own set of problems. Apparently 6.4 trucks like to eat radiators. So I have replaced the radiator and thermostats on the truck. It runs just fine and pulls like a freight train.
