6.0L gas RE vs mpg
Anyone guess or estimate the MPG improvement between 4:10 and 3:73 in the new gas GM trucks? How would we determine the mpg improvement switching out from a 4:10 to a 3:73 ... Got about 1100 m...

Yes -- I agree with you all pretty much - guess I'm just a bit disappointed this mpg is as low as it is ... I know, I know, buy a 2500HD for hauling and complain about mpg -- well, not really complaining, just wondering about that RE difference and the "great new technology" that helps mpg not at all ...
Truck is great, and rides well, hauls well, corners well - no complaints at all really. Just a little unexpected at this mpg ... but then again, it has a 35 gallon tank, and in my 2003 - the 26 gallon tank had me hunting for gas pretty regularly on trips -- so there is that benefit ... we don't fill up twice a day when traveling at least. :) :) :)
