6.0L gas RE vs mpg
Anyone guess or estimate the MPG improvement between 4:10 and 3:73 in the new gas GM trucks? How would we determine the mpg improvement switching out from a 4:10 to a 3:73 ... Got about 1100 m...

The Ford 6.2 is no better than the 6.0 gm in mpg and its a near new design. The Ram 6.4 is the newest engine on the market, we will see what it gets for mileage, but I will bet it does not better than the 6.0 or 6.2.
IIRC the 6.4 Hemi has the deactivation setup. Runs on less cylinders when needed. Not sure if that will translate into better mpgs or not, but in other motors it did.
