Ok everyone I am torn after driving them both. I like them both and they are within the same price range but which one do I step up too?!?!?!? :h I want to be in a 3/4 ton by the time camping season ...

I have owned sort of both. I had an 06 5.7 hemi, then I found a 01 7.3 powerstroke for the big camper, parked it at the campground and will pull a 16ft trailer with a 2012 f250 6.2
You are correct, the Ford is roomier. I feel like I am driving a luxury truck. I know I am comparing an 06 to a 12, but my 10 year old says their is so much more room in the ford.
I got a king ranch, all bells and whistles.
Best of all, I like the tow mirrors the best on the ford. Biggest and easiest to use. the spotter mirror should always be on the bottom wether in tow mode or not.
No regrets. I offered to buy the 06 back from the friend of a friend that bought it since he was going through a divorce. Did this to save $20k, but ended up with the 2012 for $38k with only 40k miles. So all in all I faired better in the end.
