I say pick the RAM :)
Here's why:
- The Ram performs better -- as per the PICKUPTRUCKS.COM COMPARISON
- The 6.4L Hemi has more hp and tq than Ford's 6.2L
- RAM rides better -- coil spring rear suspension
- RAM has a higher tow rating
- RAM has available rear air suspension
- RAM has a nicer interior -- according to all comparisons I have read and I also share this opinion
- The RAM gets better mpg -- due to cylinder deactivation
- You might also want to check into the warranty for each, I believe RAM has a better warranty -- 100,000 miles on powertrain, Ford is 60,000 IIRC
Correction...
Ford gets better mpg based on these test results which affects the pocket.
Historically long term durability of the air suspension is not as reliable as leaf springs and will be very expensive to repair. We've seen it come and go on different brands.
Historically soft touch materials in vehicles are not as durable as hard plastic, but as of lately it seams everyone wants everything to be soft.
