I will confirm that although as I said earlier I had my cruise set to 78 mph on my last trip to Houston (besides the two stops I mentioned) in my personal 2500 and it registered that my average speed was 71 mph.
I was actually in Houston yesterday in my company truck which is an super cab F150 Ecoboost 2wd with a 3.15 rear ratio. I had the cruise set to 75 the whole way and my computer showed 21.2 mpg, but the hand calculation on that tank was 19.8 mpg. This truck always shows up to 1.5 mpg higher than actual just like my personal F150 does. My Ram is worse with a 2-2.5 mpg difference.
