Since YOU invited me. A friend (A RAM guy) recently told me he was traveling and the guy in front of him towing a RV headed for the side of the road with smoke billowing out. He stopped and tried to help him get back on the road. He felt bad because there was nothing he could do to help. Sounded like the op's issue.
Things happen and it's nice to know about potential issues that you can correct or at least be ready for.
Price is a bit steep but hey the parts look cool!
