I've had my 3500 long bed all over Baja, extra length is no problem, remember every little town is serviced by a Bimbo truck, the size of a UPS truck. I had one following my Jeep on a dirt road doing 50 mph. When I bought my Dodge the 2500 came with a 10.5" rear diff. the 3500 had 11.5" plus of course the overload springs
